Story

A subtle and elegant brogue wingtip, the Hubbard Tipping Point is a favorite sporty-looking dress shoe in our Go to Work Collection.

Built on the Hubbard Vibram lightweight Morflex sole, these are supremely comfortable shoes that incorporate our triple-density leather comfort insole. The Hubbard insole supports and cushions your foot with every step and is easily removable if you wish to use your own custom orthotics.

The Tipping Point oxfords are cowhide leather lined from heel to toe and are silky smooth on the inside. These rich, soft leathers require no breaking in and come in a hand-waxed, satin finish. If you prefer a more brilliant shine, you can easily bring these to a bright luster using your favorite shoe cream. The wingtip design is beautifully set off by the genuine leather welting that trims the edges of the shoe.

My husband loves the shoes. Just started wearing the second pair. Neither pair needed to be “broken in”. They were comfortable from the first day.

I don't always write reviews and most often, just delete the email. But, these are truly amazing shoes. I have to admit, it is more than I have ever spent for a pair of shoes, but, this is now my third pair. I am on my feet in hospitals and clinics for most of the day. I need a shoe that is dressy, but, they must be comfortable. This is truly like wearing a pair of Nike's but, absolutely dressy. I've never really been complimented on my shoes, until I bought Hubbard's. I can't recommend them highly enough. Great arch support, perfect fit for me, and like "walking on air cushions." I'm a tall guy (6'7") and have had some history of back problems. Hubbard's are the best and most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. They are durable and last and well worth the price. HIGHLY recommended.

I bought these for my husband, who has had trouble with plantar fasciitis
over the years. Usually, he has to take out the insoles on new shoes and replace them with custom orthotics. After looking at the construction of this shoe and the good insole, I suggested he try them "as is." And so far they have worked very well! We walked a couple of miles in them the first day he wore them, and he reports that they are very comfortable.

In addition, they are obviously good leather and can be resoled.

Love the shoes, but only a few of the "wides" are wide enough for me.

Perhaps, the most beautiful, and “potentially” BEST shoe, ever?

Believe these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. More than worth the asking price, these can be worn right out of the box.

Third pair of Hubbards I've bought. Bought same style and size in black: great! Comfortable from the first time I wore them. These shoes are way too narrow. Have worn them once. Keeping shoe trees in them, hoping they get more comfortable the more I wear them.

This is a versatile and extremely comfortable shoe that looks great with khakis and jeans. And they only get better with age. Although SH recommends a wax shoe polish, I treated mine (tan) with a mink oil shoe conditioner (by Red Wing) and they look fantastic—like a broken in baseball glove. Spend the money. You won’t regret it.
