Ok these just arrived today and tried them in with a medium sock thicknesses. Yes these are a bit tight but my 5th pair of SH. First pair of boots.
Like my other SH I believe these will take some breaking in and wearing for a bit before they become perfect.

I have a pair of the dress shoes and just literally wore them for a multi day conference with no foot Pain. I’m talking 10k steps per day on cement or thin carpet. They were amazing

One, then the other shoe began to squeak 7 to 10 days after first worn. Ugh!

Very nice looking and well made shoe, and I am sure they will be more comfortable as they break in. Right now, the sides of the tongue are so large that when tied properly are painful to the top sides of my feet.

These shoes exceed my expectations. First, the Vibram sole and the padded sole create a comfortable feel. I can wear them for hours. Second, the waterproof aspect makes them great if you live somewhere with a fair amount of snow and rain. Finally, persons in the office compliment the look of these boots.

Very attractive shoes. As others have said heels are a problem (painful). Shoes lose their shoelace tightness quickly and thus slip. You will have to retie the shoes constantly if walking for more than 10 minutes. Best suited for minimal walking distance (somewhat defeats point of gortex, rough weather shoes!) For just under 300 bucks I would expect far more comfort. Most expensive shoes I've ever bought, yet break in time is clearly going to be VERY long. If your feet are not really tough (mine are not) I'd suggest looking for something else.
