Overall Review
These are wonderful shoes with a classic look and all day comfort. I am on my feet managing our senior living facilities and these keep my feet feeling great for 15k steps each day. They just need to put the brick colored bottoms on the navy and other colors. Keep it classic in combination and you won't be able to keep this model in stock.

After a lifetime of disappointment looking for shoes that fit my size 14, I've found heaven in the world of Hubbard shoes. My only reservation regarding these shoes and others that I will certainly order is whether or not I can be a disciplined shopper and not spend part of my paycheck every week buying a pair.

Really well made , high quality. I was hoping that by adding my custom innersoles on top of the included ones that these great looking shoes would fit good enough for occasional wear where a lot of walking wasn't involved. But there was just too much space to make up to fit my narrow feet. It was worth a shot cause I loved those Navy Nubucks!

Comfortable shoes, but of the six pair of SH shoes I own, these are a bit tight. I'm sure they will stretch in time. Shoes had a few scuff marks when I took them out of the box, but I was able to brush them away.

I like everything about this shoe, everything, except the fit of the heel. My heel slips terribly. I tried my regular size 10.5, then thinking perhaps a smaller size would cure the heel slippage, sized down to a 10. I then wore it around for two days thinking that perhaps there was a break-in period. No, I think it is a design issue. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to like this shoe and had looked forward to buying additional styles in the line.

Great looking shoe.
I ordered a 12 wide, which is my usual size. Unfortunately these were still too narrow for me.

Overall a very comfortable shoe and really enjoy the Navy look.
The back ankle is rubbing and taking a little while to break in, otherwise a great shoe and would probably buy another.

The shoe is outstanding but the customer service is even better. I would say the service I received meets or exceeds Amazon.com.

Someone in my family said that is because of the cost. The quality of this shoe far exceeds the cost. I have had mine for almost three years and they still look new. The only thing that has a little wear are the insoles.

Don't hesitate these are great.

Product Questions

Is there a coating I should put on my Nubucks to keep them looking nice? 07.08.18
Hello! We recommend treating your suede and nubuck shoes with a waterproofing agent. Our favorite is Nikwax Suede & Nubuck Waterproofing Spray.
Are Bucks made with nubuck leather or suede leather? 07.16.18
Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. The Bucks are made of nubuck leather. Nubuck is created by a process of brushing/sanding the outside of leather to roughen the surface; suede on the other hand, is where the inside of the leather is brushed/sanded. The result is that nubuck is tougher and more resilient to stains and scuffs. Everyday dirt can be removed with a small brush, either rubber bristle or stiff bristle.
How do you clean the “bucks”. Can you recommend a product? 07.21.18
Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. To clean the Bucks we recommend using a stiff bristle or rubber bristle brush. This type of brush will help remove surface debris stuck on the leather and will also help to lift the nap of the leather. You can use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the sole of the shoe. We also recommend treating your shoe with a waterproofing agent. Our favorite is Nikwax Suede/Nubuck Waterproofing Spray.
